Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou was disappointed that his team did not bring home any points, saying his team played well, have a future and will one day be rewarded for their efforts after Sunday’s 2-1 defeat at Newcastle. It was another match in which Spurs
had the ball and created many scoring opportunities but lacked decisiveness, ultimately losing to the home team who had sharper finishing.
“It slipped away from us unfortunately. We had chances to win the game comfortably but in the end we didn’t get anything, so it’s hard to accept,” said Ange.
“If you don’t score the second goal when you have momentum… the goalkeeper made some great saves but we still had more chances to create, and in the end we didn’t succeed.”
Postecoglou told ยูฟ่าเบท http://ufabet999.app Sports: “It got away from us unfortunately. We had the chances to win the game probably comfortably but we walk away with nothing so it’s a bitter pill to swallow. It is what it is.
“If you don’t get the second goal when you have momentum… The keeper has pulled off a couple of good saves but we still had the chances to create something more and we didn’t.
“When we’re creating the amount of chances we have, we should be getting more in return than what we have been at the moment.
“When we create chances like this, we deserve more rewards than we have now.”
“The good thing is that our football is good, and it has been good for the past three games. We just want the rewards for our play. If we keep playing like this, I know we will get what we deserve.”
