James Rodriguez terminates Sao Paulo contract and looks for a way back to play in Europe.
According to reports from South American media, the Colombian midfielder has informed Sao Paulo of his contract termination, with the player keen to return to Europe.
The legal team is currently reviewing the details of the termination and if the process goes smoothly, the Brazilian club will make an official announcement.
James’ side enjoyed a stellar Copa America campaign. Earning plaudits from many and are now eyeing a return to Europe in the 2024/25 season.
